Morons in Cyberspace : Waterstones

Waterstone’s customer service department has email, but their marketing department does not.

Waterstone’s customer service department tell me that in order to contact their marketing department, I need to send a letter in the post to their head office.

A letter?

In the post?

Are they kidding?

Apparently not!

I am supposed to believe that their marketing department doesn’t have email, so not only can I not send them an email, their customer service department are also unable to forward my message to them – which shows their CSD offers no ‘service’ at all.

And that’s a shame, because they’ll never see the message about the problem with their website, and they’ll likely never fix it.

Carry on losing business; you’ve lost mine already.
